Jobot is seeking an experienced personal injury attorney in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will represent clients in court and before government agencies, crafting strong arguments and evidence to defend or support cases.

This full-time role requires a Nebraska license and a minimum of three years of PI experience. You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and negotiate settlements to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Nebraska.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a personal injury attorney.
• Proven experience in trial practice, mediation, legal research, and document drafting.
• Excellent negotiation skills with strong legal writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence and arguing for the plaintiff or defense in personal injury disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and cases to prepare cases.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements aiming to resolve cases favorably and efficiently.
• Advise clients on legal rights, potential lawsuits, or settlements.
• Develop strategies and arguments for case preparation and presentation.
