Job summary

Crown Pointe, a Sonida Senior Living community in Omaha, NE, seeks a licensed Medication Aide to provide safe, compassionate medication administration and daily living support to residents. You will work with the care team to ensure quality care and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with activities of daily living, and monitoring vital signs, while maintaining licensure and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Nebraska as a Medication Aide-40 Hour, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provide patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assist with travel to the bathroom; help with showers and baths
• Provide activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients, ambulating, turning and positioning patients; provide water and nourishment between meals
• Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information
