Job summary

The Outreach Team is hiring a full-time Campaign Organizer to lead grassroots efforts in Nebraska, with multiple city locations including Scottsbluff, North Platte, Grand Island, Hastings, Alliance, Chadron, and Norfolk.

You will recruit and train volunteers, organize canvassing, and coordinate community engagement to support Dan Osborn's Senate campaign. The role emphasizes on-the-ground organizing across Nebraska communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in community organizing or canvassing is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to mobilize volunteers and coordinate at local events.

Responsibilities

• Call and text supporters to recruit them into grassroots actions.
• Identify new supporters and volunteers by knocking doors, gathering petitions, flyering, and recruiting in the community.
• Run grassroots skills training to develop campaigners among volunteers.
• Keep meticulous track of a volunteer list so that no potential volunteer falls through the cracks.
• Represent the campaign at community spaces and events, engaging coalition and partner organizations.
• Gather petitions from the community in support of key campaign issues and mobilize participation in events.
