Job summary

The Outreach Team is hiring a full-time Campaign Organizer to recruit, train and lead volunteers across Nebraska. You will drive grassroots conversations in Scottsbluff, North Platte, Grand Island, Hastings, Alliance, Chadron, and Norfolk, coordinating events and digitally-supported campaigns.

You will manage volunteer recruitment, petitions, training, and community engagement, building relationships with local leaders and organizations to advance campaign goals.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and Insurance, with a verifiable safe driving record.
• Must be over 21 (to drive rental car if needed).
• Must be available full-time.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train a community of volunteer activists, call/text supporters, knock doors, gather petitions, and lead in-field recruitment.
• Generate campaign actions by recruiting volunteers to create petitions and engage with community leaders and VIPs.
• Organize high-visibility in-person events for working families and educate constituents around affordability and action opportunities.
• Manage digital campaign tools, data management, and reporting; recruit volunteers to post on social media and send timely email campaigns.
• Develop and maintain a volunteer list, track interactions, and report results daily with weekly summaries.
• Engage with community spaces and events, uplifting coalition and partner organizations.
