Job summary

The Outreach Team in Nebraska is hiring a full-time Campaign Organizer to build and lead volunteer networks across Scottsbluff, North Platte, Grand Island, Hastings, Alliance, Chadron, and Norfolk.

You will recruit, train, and deploy volunteers, organizing grassroots canvassing, events, and actions to engage Nebraskans and support the campaign. A passion for community organizing and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 (in order to drive the rental car if needed)
• Valid driver's license and Insurance as well as a verifiable record of safe driving.
• Must be available full-time.

Responsibilities

• Call and text supporters and recruit them into grassroots actions.
• Identify new supporters and volunteers by knocking doors, gathering petitions, flyering, and conducting in-field recruitment efforts in the community and on local campuses.
• Run grassroots skills training to develop effective campaigners among volunteers.
• Keep meticulous track of a volunteer list so that no potential volunteer falls through the cracks.
