Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a certified X-Ray Technician Level II for our San Leandro, CA facility within the NDT/NDT testing group. The role involves reviewing digital and film images to ensure the integrity and quality of complex structural castings before shipment.

You will perform calibrated X-ray inspections, follow detailed technique cards, and report results using established systems. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a production environment.

Competenze

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and may be substituted by manufacturing experience.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred. Previous experience in the casting industry is a plus.
• Must have X-Ray Level I certification.
• X-Ray Level II certification is highly preferred.
• Requires the ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions normally acquired by completion of high school or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Math proficiency with and without calculators; intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Mansioni

• Review processed X-Ray film to ensure castings conform to customer specifications.
• Read and follow technique card instructions describing complex steps to complete assignments.
• Record and report results using appropriate systems.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated per specifications.
• Train and guide less skilled employees as needed.
