Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking experienced NDT UT/MT/PT Technicians to join our Los Angeles area team. This is a full-time, local position, and candidates must currently reside in the Los Angeles area to be considered.

The NDT Technician will perform UT, MT, and PT inspections, set up equipment, interpret results, and document findings while adhering to procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards. Local travel and ongoing certifications are required.

Qualifications

Position Summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking experienced NDT UT/MT/PT Technicians to join our team in the Los Angeles, CA area. This is a full-time, local position , and candidates must currently reside in the Los Angeles area to be considered.

The NDT Technician will perform nondestructive testing inspections using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) methods while following applicable procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform UT, MT, and PT inspections on a variety of components and equipment.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results according to applicable procedures and standards.
• Complete accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Maintain NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Follow company, client, and safety requirements.
• Communicate inspection findings with supervisors, clients, and other team members.
• Maintain required certifications and training.
• Previous NDT inspection experience required.
• UT, MT, and PT experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and inspection instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must currently reside in the Los Angeles, CA area.
• Must be willing to work locally in the Los Angeles area.
