Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking a qualified Multi-Level NDT Technician (Level I, II, and III) to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will perform inspections in accordance with codes, customer specifications, and company procedures across various industries.

Candidates must hold current MT, PT, UT, RT, or VT certifications and be able to travel as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits and professional growth within the NDT field.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current certifications in MT, PT, UT and RT.
  • Strong knowledge of ASNT, ASTM, API, AWS and related standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT inspections using MT, PT, UT, and RT methods.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results per codes, standards and customer specs.
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration.
  • Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Communicate inspection findings with customers, supervisors and project teams.
  • Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment.
  • Ensure inspections meet applicable code and customer requirements.
  • Travel to customer locations as required.
  • Perform additional inspection methods or duties as assigned.

Job description

MISTRAS Group is seeking a qualified Multi-Level NDT Technician (Level I, II, and III) to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of non-destructive testing methods and be capable of performing inspections in accordance with applicable codes, customer specifications, and company procedures. This position supports a variety of industries, including manufacturing, petrochemical, power generation, aerospace, and industrial facilities.

Candidates must possess any of the Core NDT certifications: Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), or Visual Testing (VT).

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Requirements
  • Graduated from a Non-Destructive Testing School
  • 2+ years of documented practical experience
