Job summary

Jobot is seeking an NDT Technician II in Newport Beach to perform non-destructive testing on aerospace components using MT and PT methods. You will ensure parts meet specifications and maintain thorough quality records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading blueprints and procedures, calibrating equipment, and adhering to NADCAP/AS9100 standards while upholding safety and quality practices on day shift (6am–2:30pm), Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of NDT inspection experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Working knowledge of ASTM NAS410 and aerospace quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Accurately document inspection findings and maintain quality records.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Verify parts meet customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment and inspection materials.
• Identify and report nonconforming material or defects.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities when required.
• Ensure compliance with NADCAP, AS9100, customer, and company quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Job Details

The NDT Technician II is responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on aerospace and manufactured components using Magnetic Particle (MT) and Liquid Penetrant (PT) methods. This role ensures products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and industry standards while maintaining compliance with quality and safety procedures.

Hours: 1st shift 6am-230pm

Days: Monday-Friday

Duties
