Job summary

Insight Global is seeking experienced Level II/III NDT Technicians to support a high-profile aerospace and defense program. You will perform advanced non-destructive testing on complex structures and components using UT, ET, or RT in a regulated production environment.

The role requires NAS410 certification, the ability to interpret drawings, and experience with inspection data, reports, and communicating quality concerns.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Experience with interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • NDT training and documented certification records.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Level II non-destructive inspections utilizing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and/or Eddy Current Testing (ET) or Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized NDT inspection and measurement equipment
  • Inspect aerospace structures, assemblies, and components to ensure compliance with quality requirements
  • Analyze inspection data and determine product acceptance or rejection criteria
  • Document test results, inspection findings, and non-conformance reports
  • Identify and communicate quality concerns, adverse trends, and inspection anomalies
  • Support corrective actions and process improvement initiatives
  • Work with digital, automated, and advanced inspection technologies
  • Assist with training and mentoring less experienced technicians when applicable
  • Maintain compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards

Job description

We are seeking experienced Level II/III NDT Technicians to support a high-profile aerospace and defense manufacturing program. This role offers the opportunity to perform advanced non-destructive testing on complex aerospace structures and components utilizing industry-leading inspection technologies in a highly regulated production environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and/or Eddy Current Testing (ET), or Radiographic Testing (RT), strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Level II non-destructive inspections utilizing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and/or Eddy Current Testing (ET) or Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized NDT inspection and measurement equipment
  • Inspect aerospace structures, assemblies, and components to ensure compliance with quality requirements

$1500 Sign on bonus

$80/hr

Per Diem and Relocation covered within reason

Manufacturing and aerospace production environment

Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and airborne particles within permissible safety limits

Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and work in various physical positions

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Availability to support overtime, weekends, or variable shifts as required

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current or previous Level II/III certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and/or Eddy Current Testing (ET)
  • NAS410 Certification
  • Documented NDT training, certification records, and/or on-the-job training hours with a Level III signature
  • Experience performing inspections within aerospace, aviation, defense, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASNT certification
  • 3+ years of NDT/NDI experience
  • Experience with automated inspection systems and digital inspection technologies. AUSS or NAUSS are a big plus.
  • Experience inspecting aerospace structures, composite materials, or metallic components
  • Additional NDT certifications such as RT, PT, MT, or other methods
  • Experience reviewing inspection trends and supporting root cause investigations

Training: 30 days offsite (TBD)

*Training cost and travel will be covered by the client.

Duration: Through End of 2026

Shifts: M-F, mostly 1st shift but some 2nd, OT will be available
