Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an NDT Technician – Level 1 (Trainee) for the Etch Weekend Day Shift in Dillon, SC. This entry-level role provides hands-on training under supervision to stage work, move products through NDT processes and support the team.

The position requires basic English, ability to read work orders, shop math, and use inspection tools. Candidates may have GED/HS diploma and pass required exams within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimal 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment; prior military experience; or technical certification / degree.
• Successfully pass Vision, Written and Practical examinations for Level 1 or 2 in at least one method within a 12-month period.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Obtain experience under direct observation of a Level 2 or Level 3 in the same method.
• Adheres to quality processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Correctly interpret work orders
• Perform basic NDT support tasks (staging work, etc.) See NAS410- 5.1.1
• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
