Job summary

Laboratory Testing LLC in Hatfield, PA is seeking an entry-level Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Trainee. The role offers hands-on training alongside certified technicians and a path toward NDT certification.

Work hours are 7am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a manufacturing setting focused on quality and safety. This full-time position requires a high school diploma or GED, with no experience required; forklift certification and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1–2 years of inspection or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Forklift Operator Certification (required).
• Ability to read and interpret documents (required).
• Ability to identify damaged, and/or missing material from orders (required).
• Ability to pass written and practical examinations after training.
• Ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move material up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Gains knowledge in NDT methods through hands-on and classroom training.
• Assists qualified technicians by providing support where needed.
• Prepares for qualification exams in NDT methods by self-studying and assisting with inspections.
• Delivers materials and other items to appropriate areas/departments.
• Stages customer materials in designated areas.
• Verifies shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Packs and prepares shipments; bands, wraps, and labels as needed.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas according to schedule and policy.
