Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a highly skilled maintenance technician to assemble, maintain, diagnose, repair, and calibrate a range of mechanical, electronic, and nuclear measurement equipment. The role requires troubleshooting complex test equipment, reading schematics, and updating documentation.

Expect a weekend day shift with related overtime and gradual pay progression after onboarding. The position emphasizes safety, training delivery, and collaboration with quality, engineering and other teams

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma (GED).
• Experience in maintenance or fabrication of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Experience with electronic, electrical, electro-mechanical control equipment.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on automated systems.
• Read schematics and vendor manuals; troubleshoot hardware and software related problems.
• Modify and document software changes; generate maintenance procedures for auditable documentation.
• Provide training and diagnostic assistance to others; ensure safety and housekeeping in work areas.
