Job summary

CRT is hiring a Production Supervisor – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri) on-site in Mentor, OH. The successful candidate will lead a skilled NDT team across methods such as fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic, and x-ray testing, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-first operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or similar responsibility.
• Technical competencies in NDT procedures; inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and shop drawings.
• Ability to communicate, motivate, and multitask daily.
• Past success passing skill tests in other trades or disciplines.
• Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs.
• Must pass Ishihara color vision and Jaeger Reading tests per NAS410.

Responsibilities

• Lead a highly experienced NDT team across multiple NDT disciplines (e.g., FPT, MPI, UT, ECT, RT).
• Ensure scheduled work is performed safely and in a systematic manner so technicians can perform tasks.
• Monitor work completion and verify quality standards are met.
• Apply NAS410 standards for turbine engine components and related processes.
• Supervise preparation, processing, and inspection of parts in various stages of repair using NDT methods.
• Operate in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility.
