Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. seeks an experienced NDT Level II RT Technician to perform radiographic testing in Monroe, NC and on client sites.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating radiographic equipment, interpreting images, and preparing precise inspection reports. You will mentor Level I technicians and ensure radiation safety compliance. ASNT Level II RT certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold ASNT Level II RT certification and be able to interpret radiographs.
• State or industrial radiographer card where applicable.
• Radiation safety training (40-hour) preferred.
• Additional certifications (MT, PT, UT, VT, PMI) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections per procedures and codes.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety requirements and policies.
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and calibration.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and technicians.
• Assist with additional NDT methods when qualified.
• Mentor and guide Level I technicians as needed.
