Job summary

Acuren is seeking State Carded RT Assistants to support non-destructive testing activities, calibrations, and evaluation determinations according to written instructions and recorded results. You will set up NDT equipment, assist Radiographers, conduct inspections to identify defects, and document findings while complying with federal and state regulations and safety standards.

This position requires a High School Diploma, RT certification, and the ability to pass a background check; driving

Qualifications

• RT State Carded is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background desired.
• Background check required per federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
