Job summary

Acuren is recruiting for full-time NDT/RT Assistants for our Duluth, MN location. This role supports calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations for acceptance decisions, following written instructions and recording results.

Responsibilities include assisting radiographers with calibration, performing tests to ensure quality and detect discontinuities, and documenting inspections. Local candidates preferred due to on-site requirements and shift schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred; technical background helpful.
• Credentials and background check for regulatory compliance.

Acuren is recruiting for full-time NDT/RT Assistants for our Duluth, MN location.

NDT/RT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

We are seeking candidates located in Duluth, MN or the surrounding area. While we encourage all qualified applicants to apply, preference will be given to local candidates due to the on-site requirements and nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have supporting QA documents (proof of classroom hours)
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• IRRPS card preferred
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training preferred(40RAD)
• TWIC card
• Local to Duluth, MN or surrounding area
