Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an RT Technician to perform radiography-based NDT inspections on piping, vessels, and tanks in a Fab Shop lay down yard. You will report findings and support qualification processes per customer procedures.

You must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of NDT experience, with the ability to generate technical data both orally and in writing. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications

• 12 months prior NDT experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping/vessel inspections in a lay down yard using Radiography and report findings.
• Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per procedures.
• Set up, calibrate equipment and interpret results per codes and specs.
• Oversee on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
• Organize and report the results of NDT tests; evaluate data for disposition.
• Other duties as assigned.
