Job summary

BENTELER Automotive Corporation seeks an experienced NDT Equipment Specialist to manage maintenance, calibration, and verification of NDT systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Automation, and Engineering to ensure reliability and quality.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills, with a focus on compliance to API 5CT/5L, ASTM, ISO and customer specs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Industrial Technology, Quality, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or NDT experience.
• Experience in steel tube, pipe, or metal manufacturing preferred.
• NDT Level II Certification in UT, ET, MFL, or VT.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, repair, calibration, and performance verification of all NDT equipment.
• Maintain NDT equipment spare parts inventory and order replacement components as needed.
• Obtain quotations and manage communications with equipment suppliers and service vendors.
• Support installation, commissioning, upgrades, and changeovers of NDT systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Maintenance, Automation, Engineering, and Production departments.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvements.
• Troubleshoot NDT software, hardware, communication, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Assist Maintenance and Automation teams in resolving equipment failures.
• Manage equipment software updates, configuration files, and backup systems.
• Program and maintain NDT inspection keys, recipes, and product-specific inspection parameters.
• Develop troubleshooting guides, work instructions, and technical documentation.
