Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking Associate and Experienced NDT Specialists to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes' In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA. This is a contract assignment through a Boeing-approved third party for the duration of the project.

Regular attendance is required. The role involves writing NDT procedures, calibrations, and supporting non-destructive testing with UT/ET techniques, CAD, and reporting any adverse trends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years education or experience in NDI/NDT.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
• Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
• Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
• Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
• Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
• Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
