Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking an experienced NDT Level III Specialist to provide emergent, high-impact technical support across our commercial aircraft portfolio in the Puget Sound region. You will author NDT procedures, create CAD designs for calibration standards, and set up equipment to ensure precision and airworthiness.

Key responsibilities include drafting procedures, producing CAD drawings, and performing hands-on NDT equipment setups.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of NDT education and hands-on work experience.
• Active ASNT / NAS410 Level 3 certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Eddy Current Testing (ET).
• Proven proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to produce certified hour documentation.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, overtime, weekends, and up to 15% regional travel.
• Ability to comfortably work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Author and revise NDT operating procedures, figures, and inspection guidelines.
• Develop CAD drawings of specialized calibration standards.
• Set up advanced NDT/NDI equipment to precise calibration standards.
• Provide emergent, hands-on Level 3 NDT support across commercial aircraft programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of aerospace NDT experience.
• Hands-on specialization in advanced UT (Phased Array, Shear Wave, Immersion, Bubbler), advanced ET (ECA, LFEC/MFEC), or Radiography (CR, DR, CT).
• Experience as a Responsible/Principal Level 3 training other inspectors.
