Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an experienced NDT technician to inspect parts using fluorescent penetrant methods and to document quality results. The role requires reading drawings, following SPD procedures, and maintaining calibration and safety standards on a daily basis.

The position involves hands-on inspection under supervision, contributing to process improvements, and supporting the team in meeting contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years recent experience with liquid penetrants.
• Must be familiar with codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method utilized.
• Able to demonstrate teamwork, performance feedback and self-development activities.

Responsibilities

• Immerse, paint or spray parts with fluorescent penetrant and let penetrant dwell.
• Water rinse penetrant, dry, develop and inspect under black light; document results per SPD procedures.
• Perform and document daily, weekly and monthly process checks; ensure calibration stickers are current.
