Job summary

Indotronix is seeking an NDT Technician specialized in Ultrasonic Testing in the United States. The role focuses on evaluating materials and components without damage using UT methods including phased array, pulse-echo, shear wave, and through transmission.

Responsibilities include setting up NDI equipment, interpreting results, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Level II/III duties cover codes, procedures, training, and audits within the NDT facility.

Qualifications

• AA degree and 3 years related experience.
• NAS 410 certification required.
• UT Level 1 and 2 certifications with formal training hours.
• 800+ UT OJT hours proof.
• Experience with various NDI methods.

Responsibilities

• Use non-destructive inspection methods to verify parts meet customer requirements.
• Set-up and standardize NDI equipment; interpret results for acceptance or rejection.
• Develop procedures and work instructions for NDT operations.
• Provide training, examination, and certification of personnel.
• Audit NDT processes and document non-conformances.
• Interpret codes and standards controlling NDT methods.
