GE Aerospace is seeking qualified interns for Inspection Engineering roles. You will work with engineers to apply nondestructive testing and 3D metrology in a manufacturing environment, spanning design, data collection, and reporting of inspection results.

Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background in engineering or computer science, with hands-on experience in NDT or dimensional measurement technologies, and a readiness to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (no rounding).
• Enrolled in a full-time baccalaureate or graduate program in a related engineering/computer field.
• Must have completed at least one full year of college (rising sophomore).

Responsabilités

• Support inspection engineering using advanced nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques.
• Collaborate with GE Aerospace engineers to implement NDT methods (x-ray CT, phased array UT, infrared thermography).
• Validate materials quality and apply 3D non-contact metrology (structured light, optical tomography) in manufacturing.
• Contribute to the full inspection process from design to data analysis and reporting.
