Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern for Materials and Processes Engineering (NDT). You will support the NDT group, review drawings, and assist in testing, documentation, and reporting while gaining hands-on experience with diverse NDT methods.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during Summer 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
• Scope: assist development of NDT qualification and test plans.
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of NDT qualification and test plans.
• Review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Support defect placement activities used for inspection method qualification and validation.
• Gain hands-on experience with a variety of NDT inspection equipment and technologies.
• Assist in documenting test results and preparing technical reports.
• Work with engineers, technicians, and inspectors to support aerospace product development and certification activities.
