Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA, invites college students to join the Summer 2027 Materials and Processes Engineering (NDT) internship. You will support the NDT group by participating in qualification planning, reviewing drawings, and gaining hands-on experience with ultrasonic, magnetic particle, eddy current, and radiography inspection technologies.

On-site work during May–August 2027, you will collaborate with engineers and inspectors to advance aerospace components toward

Qualifications

Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Materials Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
Must be enrolled full-time and available on-site in Savannah, GA for Summer 2027.
GPA 3.0 or higher (unrounded) listed on resume.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing NDT qualification and test plans.
Review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Support defect placement activities for method qualification and validation.
Gain hands-on experience with NDT inspection equipment and technologies.
Document test results and prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and inspectors on aerospace product development and certification activities.
