Job summary

Weber Metals, Inc. in Paramount, CA is seeking an NDT Level 3 to support the Responsible NDT Level 3 on the shop floor and in the office. The role ensures correct interpretation of specifications, procedures, and customer requirements for ultrasonic and penetrant testing.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, approving scan plans, maintaining QA records, and ensuring compliance with NADCAP, ISO 9000, AS 9100, and ISO 14001. NAS 410 certifications and Level 3 credentials are required.

Qualifications

• NAS 410 Level 2 in UT and PT with 4+ years documented experience.
• NAS410 Ultrasonic Level 3 Certification in UT or PT.
• Maintaining Level 2 inspector certification (UT/PT).

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings to assess new products and flow down requirements for correct process routing.
• Develop procedures and approve scan plans/techniques, verify PO, blueprints, specs, materials and sub-processes.
• Maintain NDT quality assurance records.
• Support Responsible NDT Level 3 on shop floor and in the office with technical and compliance aspects of nondestructive testing.
• Assure compliance of NDT methods and results to NADCAP, ISO 9000, AS 9100, and ISO 14001.
• Develop improvements with Responsible NDT Level 3 to reduce rework and cost.
