Job summary

Top Prospect Group is seeking an NDT Level III Specialist in Winsted, CT. This role involves leading on-site nondestructive testing activities, including FPI, ETI, and STI, while supporting both internal operations and external suppliers. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of AS, ISO, ASTM standards, and experience with quality tools. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience is required, while NDT Level II or III certification is preferred. The position offers a dynamic and impactful role in quality engineering.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of AS, ISO, ASTM standards and Nadcap requirements.
  • Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, Pareto, GR&R, DOE, and statistical analysis.
  • NDT Level II or III certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain all on-site nondestructive testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain NDT procedures, training programs, and documentation.
  • Lead root cause investigations using Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D methodologies.
  • Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.

Skills

Quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Pareto, GR&R, DOE)
Analytical problem solving
Clear communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
