Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking an experienced Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level III to lead and manage all NDT activities across our manufacturing operations in Hicksville, Ohio. This role serves as the technical authority for nondestructive examination methods, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Current ASNT Level III certification in MT, UT; VT preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of NDT experience in manufacturing/production.
• Experience training/certifying NDT inspectors.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, welding symbols, specs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as plant/region Level III for NDT programs and certification.
• Develop, qualify, maintain NDT procedures and work instructions.
• Provide technical support on NDT requirements and interpretations.
• Oversee UT, MT, VT and other methods as required.
• Train and certify Level I/II inspectors per ASNT SNT-TC-1A.
• Review inspection reports, calibration records, and quality docs.
• Evaluate discontinuities and provide dispositions with QA/Engineering.
• Support new product introductions with inspection methods and criteria.
• Audit internal and supplier NDT processes for compliance.
• Assist with customer or regulatory audits and inspections.
