Job summary

Acuren is seeking NDT Level II Technicians to support operations in Bensenville, IL. This lab setting role requires certified Level II in UT, MT, PT, or RT and a strong NDT technical background. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, performing tests, and reporting results with safety to standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (some college preferred) and experience with NDT report writing. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Certified Level II UT, MT, PT, or RT.
Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
Experience performing NDT tasks and interpreting inspections.
Knowledge of NDT equipment.
Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods of inspection.
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety regulations.
Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
Organize and report test results.
Perform specialized inspections.
May instruct and supervise others.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
