Job summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for NDT Level II Technicians with UT, MT, PT, or RT to support operations in Bensenville, IL. This is a lab setting focused on quality, safety, and reliable nondestructive testing.

You will set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment, conduct tests, interpret results, report findings, and may supervise others. A high school diploma and NDT Level II certifications are required, with some college coursework preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II UT, MT, PT, or RT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret results of inspections.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
