Job summary

Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistants to support its operations in Bensenville, Illinois. This laboratory-based role involves assisting with NDT equipment setup, calibration, testing, inspection, and recording of results.

You will work alongside Radiographers and NDT personnel to support inspections, detect discontinuities, and document findings in accordance with written instructions and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college education preferred.
• Technical background desired.
• Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Nondestructive Testing equipment.
• Assist Radiographers with the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in conducting NDT inspections and document results.
• Record and document inspection results accurately.
• Carry NDT equipment and support laboratory activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
