Job summary

The NDT/NDE Technician role requires several certified methods, field operation oversight, and strict adherence to safety, quality, and client specifications. Travel to client sites and comprehensive reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate results to peers and supervisors.
• Ability to travel, work extended hours, and perform in field environments including confined spaces and extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive testing using certified methods per TEAM procedures, client specifications, and codes.
• Interpret, evaluate, and document test results accurately.
• Supervise NDT Assistants and field personnel.
• Calibrate and operate NDT equipment safely.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients on scope, access, and results.
• Maintain detailed records including reports, time sheets, and safety docs.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and TEAM’s site safety protocols.
• Uphold TEAM’s standards of professionalism and quality.
