Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Product Inspector – NDT Level II to perform inspections and tests per procedures, read engineering drawings, and document results. You will contribute to quality through accurate reporting and adherence to safety and inspection standards.

The role involves collaboration with engineering, quality, operators, and customer representatives, with shifts as listed. Starting pay is $31.05 per hour and a full benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Machine Tool Technology or Welding Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of NDT/inspection experience with prints and gauges.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspection and tests according to established procedures using gauging, visual, and NDT techniques.
• Write clear non-conformance reports.
• Audit procedures and documentation.
• Assist in recommending corrective actions.
• Use color code system for material identification as needed.
• Maintain accurate written and computer records.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Use gauging equipment and perform calculations as required.
• Interact with engineering, quality, operators, and customer representatives.
• Perform material handling duties, including forklift operation if required.
• Safely perform rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipment.
• Communicate effectively, both written and oral, and work collaboratively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
