Job summary

NOV in Hueytown, AL is seeking an Inspector to perform nondestructive testing on various industry components using visual, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, electromagnetic, and ultrasonic techniques. You will report to the Foreperson, Supervisor or next level Manager.

Requirements include Level II certification (VTI, MPI, LPT, EMI, UT), familiarity with API and DS-1 standards, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Flexibility for overtime and safety-focused work culture are expected.

Qualifications

• Level II Certification required (VTI, MPI, LPT, EMI, UT).
• Familiar with industry standards (API, DS-1).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow customer specifications, industry practices, and company procedures to ensure quality.
• Perform all assignments safely while following SOPs.
• Develop and maintain critical control points for quality.
• Set up and calibrate equipment per work order.
• Communicate with Supervisor/Manager to ensure safe operations.
• Perform quality checks throughout production runs.
• Report interruptions or irregularities to supervision.
• Adhere to HSE, QMS policies and report violations.
• Create and maintain inspection and production reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
