Job summary

TTL, Inc. is seeking a NDT Inspector to join our Nashville team. You will perform visual inspections of welds, conduct UT/MT/PT testing, and inspect coatings to ensure compliance with specs. The role requires safe operation at heights and communication with clients and coworkers.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, reading blueprints, and a valid driver’s license. AWS CWI and ICC certifications are preferred; willingness to travel and thorough documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading drawings, plans, and/or blueprints.
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs and work at heights.
• AWS CWI Certification preferred; Structural Steel experience required.
• ICC Structural Steel Certification preferred; observe bolting/welding.
• Experience with observing Structural Steel bolting and welded connections.
• Understanding of Special Inspections and discrepancy tracking.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspections (VT) of structural welds per standards.
• Performs nondestructive testing using UT, MT, and PT methods.
• Conducts coating inspections to ensure spec compliance.
• Inspects structural steel and bolted connections per codes.
• Prepares inspection reports and communicates findings to clients.
• Maintains accuracy and professional relationships with team and clients.
