Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is seeking an NDT Inspector to join the Shelby, NC team. You will perform non-destructive testing (MPI and FPI) on fabricated or purchased components, following company procedures and standards, including pre-inspection cleaning and post-inspection preservation.

Maintain Level 2 certification and record MPI techniques with NDT Level 3 approval. The role requires 4–6 years of experience, US citizenship, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Maintain Level 2 Certification in MPI and FPI NDT discipline.
• Perform NDT testing of fabricated or purchased components, subassemblies, or finished products.
• Create and record MPI Techniques.
• Optimizes Work Processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform Non-destructive Testing (NDT) per Company procedures, including MPI and FPI inspections.
• Pre-inspection cleaning and post-inspection preservation on a variety of components.
• Create and record MPI Techniques and gain approval from responsible NDT Level 3.
• Interpret data from regulations, codes, standards, drawings and specifications.
