Element Hartford is seeking an experienced Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) Level II or Level III to join our NDT team in South Windsor, CT. The role is hands-on, performing wet continuous and residual MPI on aerospace and high-spec parts, while developing and maintaining MPI technique plans and inspection documentation.

The successful candidate will spend most of their time inspecting, troubleshooting, and refining techniques, with opportunities to mentor Level II staff and contribute to MPI

Formación

• Current or recent NDT Magnetic Particle Level II certification in NAS-410 or equivalent.
• Experience performing magnetic particle inspection in aerospace/manufacturing/high-spec environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Ability to develop or modify MPI technique plans.

Responsabilidades

• Perform magnetic particle inspections in accordance with customer specs and procedures.
• Perform wet continuous and residual MPI testing.
• Set up and operate MPI equipment and verify settings.
• Identify and document indications per specs and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain inspection records and develop MPI technique sheets/plans.
