Qualifications

• Two years of operation of magnetic, penetrant and dye check inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
• Willingness to take yearly written tests and obtain inspection certificates.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ferrous and non-ferrous parts using magnetic, penetrant, or dye check methods.
• Assess patterns and defect locations to determine acceptance, rejection or need for rework.
• Advise on rework methods and ensure parts are salvageable.
• Operate crane and handle loading/unloading of parts as part of processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and accuracy in the work area and documentation.
