Job summary

Stoke Space is seeking a meticulous NDT professional to perform eddy current inspections on flight-critical hardware and document results. You will train and mentor Level I technicians, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and help refine NDT procedures for new products.

Eligible candidates must hold a Level II NDT certification (or Level I with Level II training funded by Stoke Space) and demonstrate strong reading of drawings, AWS D17.1 knowledge, and a deep commitment to

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Level II NDT certification or equivalent Level I with Level II training supported by Stoke Space.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of AWS D17.1 and related industry standards.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate eddy current inspections on flight-critical hardware.
• Interpret results and create detailed reports documenting findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and welding teams to schedule inspections.
• Assist in developing and validating NDT procedures for new products.
• Mentor Level I technicians and contribute to team development.
• Support continuous improvement and research of new inspection capabilities.
