Job summary

Stoke Space is seeking an experienced Eddy Current Inspector to join our Assembly team and ensure the quality of flight-critical hardware. You will perform calibrations, interpret results, and collaborate with engineering to uphold safety and reliability standards.

This role requires Level II NDT certification and a high school diploma. You will mentor Level I technicians, help develop inspection procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified Level II NDT inspector or experienced Level I.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong understanding of industry standards such as AWS D17.1.
• Excellent communication and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate equipment to perform Eddy-Current inspections on flight-critical hardware - including welds, tubes, and complex machined components - in accordance with industry standards and internal procedures.
• Interpret, evaluate, and disposition inspection results against engineering drawings and acceptance criteria, creating detailed reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and welding teams to schedule inspections and communicate findings.
• Assist in developing, refining, and validating NDT procedures for new products and complex geometries.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Level I technicians and trainees.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by researching new inspection capabilities.
