Job summary

IMIA, LLC is seeking a Level II NDT Inspector to perform VT, PT and MT inspections on surface ships, submarines, and related structures. The role requires calibration, data interpretation and thorough documentation of results, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The position offers a $2,000 bonus for achieving certification in all methods within 90 days of start date, and a pay range of $30.00–$35.00 per hour DOE. Full-time, on-site at shipyard facilities or customer locations.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
• Level II NDT certification in all methods (VT, PT and MT).
• ASNT Level II or equivalent desirable.
• OSHA 10 (Company may provide)

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using VT, PT and MT.
• Calibrate and operate NDT equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot inspection equipment as needed.
• Analyze and interpret inspection data to identify defects or anomalies.
• Record and maintain documentation of procedures and findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols during inspection activities.
• Collaborate with project team to plan inspections.
