ARMADA INC. is seeking a Level II NDT Inspector (Ultrasonic) to perform VT, PT, MT and UT inspections on surface ships and related structures.

The role requires travel to shipyards and customer facilities, with in-person certification testing in Bremerton, WA or Chesapeake, VA as needed, and a $5,000 bonus for achieving all-method certification within 90 days. Responsibilities include operating NDT equipment, calibrating instruments, documenting results, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Level II NDT certification in all methods (VT, PT, MT and UT) is required.
• ASNT Level II or equivalent is highly desirable.
• OSHA 10 may be provided by the company.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Perform NDT inspections using VT, PT, MT and UT methods.
• Calibrate and operate NDT equipment for accurate results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot inspection gear.
• Produce clear inspection reports and data.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Promote safety protocols during inspections.
• Collaborate with project team to plan and execute inspections.
