Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Glendale, AZ seeks an NDT Inspector II to perform radiographic and penetrant inspections on aircraft engine accessories. This role uses digital radiography and water-washed penetrants to ensure safety and quality.

The candidate will review hardware, calibrate equipment, document results, and work under Level III oversight. A strong team player with good communication is essential and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• GED/High School or higher required.
• Must meet NAS-410 qualification and pass exams to certify as NDT Level II for Radiographic and Penetrant Inspection.
• Must achieve 80% on general and specific exams and detect all specified discontinuities.
• Minimum 1600 hours in radiographic inspection (80 hours formal) and 400 hours in penetrant inspection (32 hours formal).
• Must pass color deficiency test and near vision 20/25.
• Welding, heat treating and brazing knowledge is a plus.
• Machining and assembly procedures knowledge is a plus.
• FAA Repair Station background is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication are essential.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Review hardware using all listed NDT methods to ensure quality compliance.
• Set up and calibrate equipment, run tests, interpret and document results per Level III procedures.
• Be familiar with method scope and record NDT results.
• Follow codes, standards and contractual docs controlling methods.
• Develop techniques/work instructions from approved procedures and secure Level III approval.
• Provide guidance to trainees and Level I personnel in certified methods.
• Be flexible across multiple methods to meet business needs.
• Perform failure analysis, R&D and production using digital RT and CT.
• Reconstruct and compile data.
