Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a NDT Inspector II for 3rd shift (10pm-6am) to perform radiographic and penetrant inspections on aviation engine accessories. You will calibrate equipment, document results, and ensure compliance with quality standards across multiple NDT methods.

The role requires NAS-410 Level II qualifications, hands-on radiographic and penetrant experience, and strong teamwork. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• GED/High School or higher required.
• Meet NAS-410 for NDT Level II in Radiographic and Penetrant.
• Score at least 80% on general and specific exams.
• Minimum 1600 hours radiographic inspection experience; 400 hours penetrant inspection.
• Pass near-vision and color-deficiency tests.
• Welding/heat-treating/brazing knowledge is a plus.
• Machining/assembly knowledge is a plus.
• FAA Repair Station background is a plus.
• Must work well with others and communicate clearly; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Review hardware using all listed NDT methods to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Set up and calibrate equipment; conduct tests and document results per Level III procedures.
• Organize and document NDT results; understand method scope and limitations.
• Familiar with codes, standards and documents controlling methods used by Parker GTFSD.
• Develop techniques or work instructions for digital RT, PT, and CT with Level III approval.
• Guide and supervise trainees and Level I personnel in methods certified.
• Be flexible to use multiple methods to meet business needs.
• Perform failure analysis, R&D and production using digital RT and CT.
• Reconstruct and compile data.
