You will perform tasks related to the parts inspection. You will use a variety of instrument and apparatus respecting inspections criteria and specifications. Your responsibilities will have a direct impact on the quality of our final product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an NDT inspector – Wind Tower, you must be able to:
- Perform non-destructive inspections to meet the quality standards and detect defaults or non-conformities with the appropriate tools
- Perform different types of inspections (magnetic particle, visual, ultrasonic) respecting established procedures, customer specifications and applicable standards
- Install and calibrate required equipment
- Verify the proper equipment operation and the conformity of the calibration duration validity
- Analyze the test results and notify the supervisor (if applicable) in case of non-conformity
- Complete applicable quality and production documents
- All other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager

REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to:
- Climb stairs and ladders; work at heights
- Lift and carry between 25-50 lbs
- Stand and walk for long periods of time
- Bend, kneel, squat, twist and reach repetitively
- Work above shoulders
- Tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions and hot/cold environments
- Distinguish colors, vision corrected to 20/20; must provide vision acuity of Jeager J-2 minimum at a distance of 12-17 inches
- Successfully complete NDT theorical and practical training classes and pass related exams
- See undercut, under fill, visual defects, height of weld
ASSETS:
