SCC Inspection, a division of Sletten Construction, is seeking an Inspection Assistant I for projects around the Minot, ND area. The role involves assisting PAUT technicians with field inspections, and occasionally MT and PT testing of welded connections, plus visual checks of piping, steel, vessels and tanks.

The candidate should have background in oil & gas, construction, or inspection, and will learn to prepare daily field observation and summary reports while adapting to refinery safety

Formación

• Background in oil & gas industry, construction, or inspection a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist PAUT Technician with routine to difficult field inspections.
• Occasionally assist in Magnetic Particle (MT) and Dye Penetrant (PT) testing of welded connections.
• Perform visual observations of piping, structural steel, vessels, tanks and other materials.
• Learn to prepare written daily field observation reports and summary reports.
• Learn/possess understanding of refinery safety, equipment and assets.
