Job summary

Watertownchamber seeks an NDT Processor to perform liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing on castings, following established procedures.

Duties include dipping, processing, precleaning, post cleaning, and demagnetizing, as well as moving castings to testing stations; heavy lifting required.

Candidate must complete and pass SNT-TC-1A Level 1 and MIL-STD-410 Level 1 certification within six months. On-site role in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand written inspection procedures.
• Must complete SNT-TC-1A Level 1 and MIL-STD-410 Level 1 certification within six months.

Requirements

1. 1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. 2. Requires the ability to reach & understand written inspection procedures.
3. 3. Inspection using written procedures. Candidate will be expected to complete and successfully pass the required certification test per the guidelines of SNT-TC-1A of the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing Level 1 and MIL-STD-410 Level 1, within a time period of six (6) months.
4. 4. NDT Processor will perform liquid penetrant operations including the dipping and processing of castings according to established procedures.
5. 5. Move castings & product to and from the testing operations as required.
6. 6. Heavy lifting required.
