Job summary

MetalTek International in Wisconsin is seeking a qualified NDT Processor to perform liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing on castings, following established procedures and safety rules. The role requires handling castings and moving them between processing and testing stations.

Candidates must be high school graduates and be able to read inspection procedures; certification per SNT-TC-1A Level 1 and MIL-STD-410 Level 1 must be achieved within six months, with heavy lifting involved.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and able to read written inspection procedures.
• Must pass SNT-TC-1A Level 1 and MIL-STD-410 Level 1 certification within 6 months.
• Experience with liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing operations.
• Move castings and products to testing areas as required.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Requires the ability to reach & understand written inspection procedures.
• Inspection using written procedures. Candidate will be expected to complete and successfully pass the required certification test per the guidelines of SNT-TC-1A of the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing Level 1 and MIL-STD-410 Level 1, within a time period of six (6) months.
• NDT Processor will perform liquid penetrant operations including the dipping and processing of castings according to established procedures.
• Move castings & product to and from the testing operations as required.
• Heavy lifting required.
