Siemens Energy in Florida seeks an ASNT Level III governance leader for NDT at our high‑integrity investment casting site. You’ll own VT/VI, PT, UT, RT—spanning CR, DR, CT—and set standards, elevate people, and synchronize practices across the organization.

Requirements include 8+ years as an ASNT Level III in high‑risk manufacturing, a BS in engineering or materials science, and active RT/PT/VT/UT certification. You’ll mentor inspectors and drive continuous NDI improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years operating as an ASNT Level III within high‑risk manufacturing (aerospace/power gen ideal).
• BS in Engineering, Materials Science, or similar.
• Active ASNT Level III in RT, PT, VT, and UT.
• Investment casting know‑how and stewardship of certification programs compliant with SNT‑TC‑1A and NAS410.

Responsibilities

• Set and enforce method standards: Create, approve, and maintain procedures and acceptance criteria under ISO 9001.
• Be the final technical voice: Provide authoritative dispositions on nonconforming material and complex read‑across for RT/UT indications.
• Modernize the toolchain: Lead qualification/validation of inspection systems, with emphasis on DR capability and software.
• Elevate competencies: Oversee qualification, certification, and recertification per ASNT SNT‑TC‑1A and ANSI/NAS 410 / EN 4179; administer exams and training records.
• Grow experts: Mentor inspectors to ensure consistent technique and interpretation accuracy.
• Scale excellence: Harmonize requirements with NDE counterparts across Siemens Energy; embed NDI into NPI; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
